Meeting the Phamily
A little over a month ago,I met some of my husband's fraternity brothers and their special ladies and boy oh boy was it a trip. We traveled to Greensboro,NC to witness the nuptials of B&T and the groom was crazy enough to want my husband as a groomsmen! We had an amazing time,I met and enjoyed getting to know the other women. Surprisingly, we have all kept in contact with each other. Here's a couple pics of our grand time.
Also, stay tuned...big annoucement coming Monday!

Strawberries!!!!
Well I said I was going to blog once a week for the next few weeks about different activities I want to do with the hubs during the Spring. When I was riding to Jacksonville the other day, the princess and I rode past a farm where you can pick strawberries and blueberries.

This is definitely something that I've always wanted to do and now that I know there is one close to where we will be living I'm going to make it a point to go there. I can see us now with our basket picking berries. Hopefully they'll look like these. Now all I have to do is spring this idea on the man, I'm sure he'll want to do it for no other reason to take pictures.

The journey to recovery....
JuJu and I had a major problem come up and now we're working towards making things better. I'm glad that we are making things better and even though we're in a rough patch it's truly amazing to know that we are both committed to one another and making our marriage work. I'm so grateful that God has given me the opportunity to learn so much about how He loves us through my husband because I have to forgive and let go time and time again and no matter what the love is still there. It's quite interesting to say the least. No matter what though I thank God everyday for him and our family, even when things seem just crazy. We are moving up the housing list pretty good,we're supposed to be moving within the next 2-3 months. I'm going to hold my breath on that. The website they have sucks because like my mother in love warned me they do not update it regularly. It's saying we're 62 as of 3/11 but when I spoke to the housing counselor last week we were 56 so I'm hoping we have moved up the list some more since I spoke to her. I'll just be glad when we do move because this distance is really putting a strain on us but at the same time it's making me deal with things that I usually wouldn't and it's opening my eyes to different things, especially how my husband thinks when it comes to certain things.
I think in honor of Spring being here. I'm going to do an entry dedicated to our first winter together highlighting alot of the fun things we did this winter. Then once a week, I'll talk about an activity I want us to try this Spring. Let's see how well I do with that.
Now that I have revamped this blog a little I'm going to see if I can get Juju to post occasionally on here and I also deleted alot of old entries because they were just old.
I pray that everyone has an amazing week and that we all are productive.
Peace & Blessings!

6 months in....
Well we are just passing the six month mark in our marriage and so far it's been nothing but great. We had an awesome time for Valentine's Day. We went to Charleston and did a bunch of random touristy stuff. Here we are on our first dinner cruise.

We are still waiting for base housing to come through so we can move but it's moving really quickly so that makes me happy. We've decided that we are going to go without the birth control and see what happens. I'm hoping that if we do get pregnant it's before April if we don't then I want to wait until the end of the year when we find out if he is going to be deploying or not. IF he's not we'll go for it, and obviously if he is, all loving will come to a standstill so we'll see. We took a EPT today and it was negative, of course I am extremely disappointed because I am so ready to have a son but it's all in God's hands. We will see what he has in store for us but so far the journey has been great.
