eHarmony ....
Well after much debate with one of my closest girlfriends and fifty million commercials I've decided to join eHarmony. I figure this may be the best way for me to find someone who isn't an exact match but at least compatible because the pickings in Merk City as well as the Metro are slim to none , any good men around I'm either related to them or they're taken or some other thing that makes them unavailable to me. Since Pie swears up and down we should do it, I decide to go into it with no real expectations but it should be funny if nothing else. I bounced my idea off of Angela the biggest advocate in the world for internet dating ( after 5 years still married to her husband she met online and married after 5 months of dating), and she thought it was worth a shot. I decide to do the 3 month plan since my friend is such a sucker for these sorts of things and she's paying for it. If I like it I will continue or if not I won't and if I really luck up and actually get matched with someone who catches my attention that would be great! So here I am a little over a month later checking out matches and after communicating with a few of these guys I'm just not so sure about this. I've got another match a 25 year old Marine, "Allen", who has sent me a communication request. Ok there's red flags all over this one-a MARINE?!?!? Get outta here! After the drama with ex, I'm not even thinking about another military man. But, what the heck I'll give it a try I mean the cool thing about this website is you learn a good little bit before you even have to make a decision as far as communicating with him outside of this. So I go ahead and answer his questions- pretty basic getting to know you questions and so it begins...that was about three months ago now we're going strong as a couple and I think he's the one. Pretty wild...
